Indoek Wax Kit

As the enduring popularity of surf culture gives rise to a new wave of beautifully crafted accessories, surfing blog and online store Indoek collaborated with New York-based designer Todd St. John to create an elegant and practical wax kit.

The design features a robust wooden comb with a well able to hold a regular wax tin, while the lid, attached with two magnets, doubles as a wax scraper. The unique design is inspired by surfboard shaping planes.

Chosen for its durability, the piece is made from fallen Nicaraguan Nogal Hardwood, a sustainable choice. The naturally waxy texture of the wood also means wax residue blends into the surface, leaving no mess. The kit is available online from Indoek for $95.
