On Your iBike

Personal devices are becoming an integral part of fitness regimes and health monitoring. Velocomp, a sports technology company based in Boca Raton, Florida, has created iBike, an indoor cycling workout for iPads.

Using wireless sensor network ANT+, the iBike for iPad can measure speed, cadence and heart rate, providing users with an interactive trainer in their homes. The system, which comprises 40 different workouts, is compatible with over 80 indoor bike trainer and roller models.
