The Facebook

Hong Kong-based graphic designer and illustrator Kila Cheung aims to teach young people around the world about traditional Chinese culture with her project The Facebook.

The book explores the ancient culture of physiognomy – the study of a person’s personality from their facial appearance – and presents the information in a visual style they understand: the social networking site Facebook.

By doing so, Cheung hopes to make an ancient Chinese culture accessible to a global audience.
