Food Storage by Friday Project

Food Storage, by Amsterdam-based collective Friday Project, is simple steel-framed storage based on the principles of the food pyramid, to promote healthy eating. The open unit is designed to encourage an educational approach to food storage and consumption, and assigns logical space to each food group.

It also uses traditional methods for food preservation, allowing you to conserve food outside of a refrigerator in a terracotta box that naturally keeps vegetables cool and fresh.

Friday Project was showing at Salone Satellite – a showcase for young designers – during Milan Design Week (April 8-13 2013). See Stylus' full Milan Design Week analysis for more coverage.
