Dirk Vander Kooij: Endless

The Dutch Design Awards 2011, announced at the close of Dutch Design Week last week, saw Eindhoven-based Dirk Vander Kooij receiving a further award for his Endless project – this time for Best Autonomous Design.

Endless – an old industrial robot programmed to print chairs in one seamless motion – was also one of the three winners at this year’s DMY Awards in Berlin, and was also featured in Stylus’ highlights from Design Academy Eindhoven’s class of 2010 report.

Watch out for further information on Dutch Design Week 2011, coming soon.
