Copia at CES

Designed to promote a social reading experience, the Copia e-reader app enables online book clubs, virtual study groups, collective recommendations and shared libraries.

The company describes the product as "a social reading platform designed around all the content you love, all your friends and all your devices".

While it has already been available on iPads, Macs and PCs, at technology trade show CES, Copia announced compatibility with an extended group of platforms and OEMs – notably Windows phone 7, the Windows tablet, and Android platforms.

Copia shows great promise in helping higher education students share notes and allowing classrooms to discuss texts on tablets, updating education techniques in today’s technology-driven era.
