News of the collaboration was released this week, but both parties remain tight-lipped about the designs, giving away only scant details. The collection is based around two travel bags (soft and hard), plus apparel, and will be priced at the mid to high end of the sports market.
Technical sportswear seems an ideal output for Dixon’s rather tough, no-nonsense aesthetic. Adidas joins a list of partnerships for Dixon that includes Canadian handset manufacturer BlackBerry and French brand Lacoste.
Those attending Milan’s Furniture Fair will be the first to set eyes on the range when it goes on show at Most, Dixon’s own edited trade event, in the Museum of Science and Technology. An expanded collection is planned for launch at the Pitti Uomo menswear shows in Florence in June.
