Bodo Sperlein and Nikko: Macaroon Tableware

London-based product design consultancy Bodo Sperlein uses delicate gradient pastel tones in its Macaroon collection of porcelain tableware. Colour pigment bleeds as it gradually intensifies towards the centre of the plates and saucers, bound within the circle of a white china rim. The tones are contemplative and soft to complement the food displayed on the tableware.

The functional range was produced in collaboration with Japanese ceramic brand Nikko and shown at Paris design show Maison & Objet last month. Click here to read our full report on the show.
