Downward dog goes walkies with Hiking Yoga – a new US workout that melds the mentally stimulating exploratory elements of hiking with body-awakening cardio and soul-soothing yoga poses.
The 90-minute Hiking Yoga workout aims to integrate the meditative elements of yoga with the physical activity of hiking. It also seeks to connect “body, nature and community” by engaging participants on a social level, with groups forming in cities across the US – from San Francisco to Austin and New York.
