Milan 2013: Patricia Urquiola for Moroso

The Mafalda armchairs are the result of yet another successful collaboration between Spanish designer Patricia Urquiola and Italian furniture manufacturer Moroso, both known for their inventive approaches to upholstery.

The chair’s simple frame is made from beech wood, while the seat and ridged backrest, available in two heights, is made from a recycled polyester felt. The Mafalda chairs are due to show next week at Milan Furniture Fair (9-14 April), alongside Moroso’s other new lines.
