Multipurpose Workplace Tables from Modus

The new range of tables from British manufacturer Modus is designed to adapt to multiple configurations that suit the many demands of modern office environments. Titled Edge, the collection places versatility at its core, echoing shifting attitudes towards conventional office design first identified in our report The Living Workspace.
Designed by London-based studio PearsonLloyd, the versatile tables can be connected together and modified to perform various roles – transforming from a private desk to a boardroom table, or even a dining table in a hospitality environment.
The minimal table design features a light, aluminium frame and flush tabletop for an elegant and unimposing design. The range also extends to accessories, including acoustic screens for creating private working areas, and paper trays and cable-management systems for a clean workspace. The various components and finish options enable the creation of a personalised and adaptable working area, while maintaining a refined look.
Launched last month, Edge will be on show at the iSaloni furniture fair during Milan Design Week (April 13-18). Look out for further coverage of the event coming soon – starting with our Preview report publishing later this week, which includes essential destinations and key Stylus recommendations.
