Vuitton to Pop-up in Cannes

In conjunction with this summer’s Cannes Film Festival, luxury fashion brand Louis Vuitton will open a temporary store celebrating the legendary cinematic glamour of the French resort.

Situated next to the brand’s permanent store, the pop-up will be designed in a lavish palette of sepia and silver, and will be focused on eveningwear. The store will initially be sectioned by collection, leading onto a green central courtyard and through to another room showcasing fine jewellery and watches.

The Cannes-inspired décor will fuse elements of the French Riviera with 1920s Shanghai – a direct reflection of the decadent, Chinese influences that have inspired the collection on show.

Continuing the creative motif, a central, pier-style catwalk will guide customers through the store and multiple screening walls, on which a selection of Chinese films will be shown.

Perfectly attuned to the creative spirit of the film festival, and its host location, Louis Vuitton aims to affirm its reputation as a creative brand with an extensive commitment to the arts.
