OHWOW Wows at Cappellini


In true OHWOW style, consumers visiting the Cappellini flagship store in New York this festive season will be confronted with what appears to be a gigantic, colourfully wrapped present.

The prolific design collective OHWOW has teamed up with architectural designer Rafael de Cárdenas once again for a second pop-up store in the city – featuring an eye-poppingly colourful design based on the Christmas candy-can that is perfectly in tune with de Cardenas's wild signature design aesthetic.

Cappellini chairs wrapped in colourful material line create chic pedestals for a selection of OHWOW publications from Ari Marcopoulos, Hanna Liden, Neck Face and Rosson Crow among others. Hip New York artists such as Scott Campbell, Terrence Koh and Jim Brain have also been commissioned to create unique, hand painted 'holiday' ornaments.
