Music in Colour by Tim Bavington

Las Vegas-based fine artist Tim Bavington uses sprayed paint to depict his response to music.

Combining mathematics and his own colour intuition, Bavington’s works are painted onto varying canvas sizes, and use specially formulated acrylic paints to build up vibrant linear compositions. The colours used vary from dark tones to fluorescent pigments, which are built up to create artworks that exhibit a sense of depth.

Heart Above Head, his latest collection of paintings, is showing at the Mark Moore Gallery, Los Angeles until February 18 2012.
