Print Tuft & Fold x Science Museum

British textile collective Print Tuft & Fold exhibited its latest collection at the recent 100% Design exhibition in London. Inspired by imagery sourced from the Science Museum’s archives, the collection incorporates crystalline graphic patterns in vibrant colours across a range of printed textiles and bespoke rugs.

Using bright hues set against a mid-grey background, the collection injects a sense of vitality into what is often considered an uncreative subject. The collaboration shows an increasing interest in pairing the arts with science – one the designers hope will transfer into homewares and children’s products.
