Nightshop: P.O.V. Vase

Rotterdam-based design studio Nightshop has released the P.O.V. vase, a decorative object that changes colour as the viewer’s position changes.

Using a lenticular surface, the vase’s colour appears to alter with the viewer’s point of view. Nightshop’s range of vases introduces an element of playful interaction into product design, reflected in style names including the Serious One and the Bright One.

The vase is released at this year’s Milan Design Festival, which runs from April 17-22 2012.
