Robot and Frank

During New York’s World Science Festival (May 30 – June 3 2012), the city’s Museum of Moving Image will host a preview screening of Robot & Frank. The dramatic comedy, winner of the 2012 Alfred P. Sloan Foundation feature film prize at Sundance 2012, explores an old jewel thief’s interaction with his robotic caretaker.

The screening on June 1 2012 will be followed by a discussion session featuring US-based robotics experts Maja Mataric and Dennis Hong, exploring the future of robotic companions. For more on this, check out Robots-Humans: New Partners.
