Daniel Arsham: Pixel Clouds

American artist Daniel Arsham uses stained ping pong balls to create clusters of colour that appear as clouds.

The suspended sculptures are composed from hundreds of individual spheres, each painted a soft pastel colour – from stormy grey and dusky raspberry to powder white.

The subtle nuances between the hues are similar to the delicate approach to colour taken in the Stylus pastel tones palette for Autumn/Winter 2012-13.
