Apres-Ski in the City

This winter, a number of cities are embracing an après-ski vibe ahead of the ski season in the northern hemisphere.

London hotel The Montague on the Gardens has launched its very own après-ski venue – a magical winter wonderland wooden deck that includes falling snow, snowmen and ski racks. Elsewhere, London's Southbank is offering après-ski without the skiing at Cortina at Cantina – a new pop-up alpine chalet and terrace overlooking the river Thames.

The trend is even taking hold on the other side of the Atlantic. Mexican hotel chain Habita – more commonly associated with long sunny days at the beach – has launched an Alpine Grill at its Hotel Americano in New York.
