Cinimod Studio: DJ Light

London-based progressive lighting studio Cinimod has produced DJ Light – an interactive work where participants can remix the colours and intensities of 85 globes of light by using body movements – for Peruvian energy company Endesa.

Combining reactive software, 400 channels of lighting control and a multi-directional sound system, the work combines sound and light manipulation, resulting in an immersive experience for both viewers and the DJ.

Installed during Christmas 2010 in Lima, Peru, the project opens doors for new ideas in colour and interface design.
