Bally Love

In early December at Design Miami, Swiss footwear label Bally launched a capsule collection of graphic accessories in collaboration with Swiss artist Phillip Decrauzat. The brand celebrated the launch again in Rome last week - at the Auditorium Conciliazion - with a spectacular dining experience, which fused the collection’s themes of art and optical illusion.
Michelin-star chef Andrea Fusco and all-girl food team Arabeschi di Latte created a culinary feast for 73 guests, while the venue was transformed with a giant red neon sign spelling out Bally Love Table in the centre of a large dining table.
Glowing boxes underneath the table and mismatched 1980s Italian chairs, which had also been painted red, added to the exotic ambiance. Rather than consulting a seating plan, guests were invited to pick a plexiglass necklace with a table number from a glass bowl and seated accordingly.
