French culture, music and fashion magazine Technikart (think iD and Rolling Stone) has branched out with a quarterly food and cookery title for hipsters.

Grand Seigneur hit Paris newsstands in March with a circulation of 50,000. It costs €4.95 per issue and is also available for the iPad.

As well as restaurant reviews, the debut issue includes a debate on the pleasures of junk food, an investigation into why pastrami is not available in France, and an interview with American novelist Jonathan Safran Foer.
