Monocle Lands in NYC

London-based Monocle magazine has landed in New York’s West Village, opening the latest in a series of boutiques based on unique product collaborations.

Following similar brand extensions for the lifestyle/current affairs magazine in London, LA and Hong Kong, the New York store is located in a tiny (188 square foot) space. But what the diminutive boutique lacks in size it makes up with ample stock.

Besides selling stationery and back issues of the magazine, the shop offers limited edition pieces from Monocle’s series of alliances with well-known brands. Examples: Monocle/Comme des Garçons candles, the Another Country/Monocle bench, and the Skeppshult/Monocle V-Bike.
