Bethan Gray: Inside Design

Bethan Gray’s marble tabletop pieces (part of a continuing collaboration with UK stone specialist Lapicida) were one of the most exciting collections seen at Milan Furniture Fair last month, and her latest marble creations have recently been unveiled at her Inside Design exhibition in London.

The standout marble tables are carefully assembled in graphic patterns for a luxurious, directional collection. One is intricately decorated with a computer numerically controlled brogue design around the edge, while another is impressively pieced in alternating chevron stripes of black and white marble. Also showing is Gray’s leather-topped Brogue table in bright new colourways or contrasting coloured brogue detailing.

Inside Design runs until May 9 2013 at Westbourne Studios, London. For other projects that exemplify craftsmanship and honing materials to their utmost, see our Materials Focus Ultra-Refined Rationale.
