Bitsy’s Brainfood

New York-based children’s snack company Bitsy’s Brainfood blends nutritional education and engaging online games with its “mega-delicious” snacks, creating a unique opportunity for relationship building between young consumers and the brand.

Bitsy’s Brainfood aims to feed young “minds, bodies and imaginations” while also teaching them to “crave the right foods” early on through its website’s interactive games and straightforward ingredient list. Snack titles highlight the fruits and vegetables used in each recipe.

Snack flavours include lemon broccoli, orange chocolate beet, zucchini gingerbread carrot and sweet potato oatmeal raisin.

Bitsy, the snack brand’s namesake, is a female cartoon character who also hosts the website. Along with interactive games, kids can print out nutritionally educational activities from the Bitsy website, including colouring pages, puzzles and connect-the-dot games. Stickers also come inside the packaging of most products.
