Design Academy Eindhoven graduate Meike Meijer has created a new way of working with paper. Shown this year at Milan Design Week, Meijer and Dutch company Vij5 presented NewspaperWood, made from layers of recycled newspaper glued together to create the appearance of grains of wood or the rings of a tree trunk.

The exhibition in Ventura Lambrate featured works from young Dutch designers who were asked to create new products with the new material.
