Spread the TED

TED – a non-profit organisation that spreads inspirational ideas from the world’s leading thinkers and doers – is exploring new ways of circulating information and storytelling.

At its recent Buenos Aires conference, TED invited the city’s biggest movers and talkers – the taxi drivers. After listening to six hours of presentations, the drivers were sent back to work, armed with exciting insights to share with their passengers.

This innovative approach shuns modern modes of communication such as social media in favour of a face-to-face, and more personal experience – allowing the local community to get involved in the spreading of new ideas.
