10 Corso Como Celebrates 20th Anniversary
Italian boutique and retail destination 10 Corso Como will celebrate its 20th anniversary next month with a Milanese celebration for customers, visitors and friends. Italian band Trio Albrizzi will perform at the event, held within the inner courtyard of the store in Milan, and traditional Italian nibbles and drinks such as sorbet, gelato and prosecco will also be on offer.
Founded in 1991 by former fashion editor and publisher Carla Sozzani, the 10 Corso Como fashion and design store was set up soon after the Corso Como gallery and bookstore in Milan. It aims to promote ‘slow shopping’, where customers can combine shopping and browsing with the experience of taking in art in a gallery. The brand has since opened a café in 1998, and a boutique hotel called 3 Rooms, both in Milan, as well as opening stores in Tokyo and Seoul.
The retail store stocks designer and boutique fashion brands including Azzedine Alaia, Giles, Maison Martin Margiela and Comme des Garcons, with clothing and accessories for men and women. It also sells beauty products and design-led interior pieces. 10 Corso Como also has an extensive own-brand collection of apparel and accessories for men and women.
The anniversary event will be held on 9 September at the 10 Corso Como store in Milan. The store will be open from 9am to 9pm as part of the celebrations.
