Lanvin at Claridge's

Alber Elbaz, creative director of Parisian fashion house Lanvin, has decorated the 2011 Christmas tree at London’s luxurious Claridge’s Hotel in the heart of the West End.

Located in the hotel’s Art Deco Lobby, the tree includes life-sized dolls of Mr and Mrs Lanvin, Mr Lanvin’s mistress, a Claridge’s doorman, and a hotel maid – all wearing the label’s own in-house creations. The display portrays Christmas day after lunch, with Mr and Mrs Lanvin tipsy and on the verge of unwrapping presents.

The Claridge’s Christmas tree has become famous for its exquisite design. Elbaz follows in the footsteps of John Galliano, Dior’s former Creative Director, who styled the tree in 2010.
