Black Diamonds Firmly Established

The use of black diamonds in jewellery is becoming evermore commonplace as designers turn to the stones to add originality to their pieces. As reported by Women’s Wear Daily, luxury brand consultant Janice Winter spoke of the increase in coloured diamond quality as a key factor influencing this shift.

Championed by jewellery designer Fawaz Gruosi and his De Grisogono label, the dark-coloured stones provide a welcome change from traditional precious gems without compromising the quality or luxury values associated with the jewellery sector.
