Cole & Son’s Geometric Collection

British wallpaper institution Cole & Son launched its latest collection at this year’s London Design Festival. Titled Geometric, the new patterns are inspired by the Op Art movement and include tessellating graphic shapes in a range of bold colourways.

Displayed in London’s Andaz Liverpool Street Hotel during the festival, the patterns indicate a move towards a more contemporary approach to wallcoverings for the heritage company. Initially installed as a temporary decoration, positive reactions from the hotel’s visitors have caused the hotel’s management to consider keeping the installation as a permanent fixture.
