Sports giant Nike’s skateboarding division previewed its latest shoe models at Berlin fashion event Bright amidst a display that included scientific equipment and medical skeletons. The centrepiece of the brand’s installation was an immersive environment bathed in green light, creating an uneasy, even nauseating sensation when occupied for an extended amount of time.
The project reflects ideas addressed in the reports Scientifically Enhanced Spaces and Beyond the Comfort Zone: Edgier Store Designs Disturb to Thrill, as well as demonstrating techniques that Stylus experienced at See! Colour! last year.
