Snedker Studio: Marbelous Wood

Danish interior designer Pernille Snedker Hansen uses a marbling technique to create vibrant and colourful effects on pine wood flooring. Colour combinations of soft chalky pastels and pop brights accentuate the natural structure and organic patterns of the wood.

Marbling patterns are carefully transferred from free-floating colour on plain water or a viscous solution to the absorbent wood surface. Hand-printed marbled works on paper are also available as exclusive one-off prints.
