Hat Academy at Peter Jones

Following the frenzy of millinery activity at last month's British Royal Wedding, department store Peter Jones will launch the Hat Academy plus a hat exhibition next month, offering millinery advice and inspiration to those attending Royal Ascot in June – arguably the season’s most fashion-conscious horseracing event.

Curated by the store’s visual merchandising team, the Millimania exhibition will feature royal hats on display for the first time, including two bonnets made for Queen Victoria, and a toque-style hat created for Queen Mary.

Meanwhile, the in-store Hat Academy will offer 60-minute consultations to would-be race-goers explaining the etiquette of Ascot fashion, and offering personalised advice on finding the perfect headwear for individual colourings and face shapes.
