Hearth Tealight Holders by Umemi

Spotted by Stylus at German consumer goods trade show Ambiente this month, Hearth tealight holders are the latest product from Icelandic design studio Umemi. Available in four shapes in bright, sugary colours, each holder is made from three MDF components that can be mixed and matched to create a multitude of combinations.

The designer behind the brand, Ragnheiður Ösp Sigurðardóttir, takes influence for her work from “Japanese cuteness” and says the aim is to produce “unique and playful items for the home and the heart”. Umemi is currently appealing for funding for the project on Icelandic crowdfunding platform Karolina Fund.
