Aigle Celebrates at Merci

From today the ground floor of the Parisian concept store, Merci, will be taken over by the traditional French bootmaker Aigle in celebration of 150 years of trading.

The Savoir Faire, Savoir Vivre exhibition will feature a series of photographs taken in the Aigle Chatellerault factory by photographer Vincent Leroux and a 3.5m high wooden replica of its classic children’s boot which doubles as a playhouse.

There will also be a product collaboration: a limited edition range of Wellington boots will be on sale from a specially designed boot bar.

The exhibition runs until November 6.
