Mulberry’s Mix Tape Tour

To celebrate Valentine’s day (February 14), British luxury brand Mulberry has recruited five up-and-coming musicians and bands to cover their favourite British love songs for an exclusive Mulberry Mix Tape online.

Performing classics by the likes of the Rolling Stones and Pink Floyd, artists involved in the project include French-Finnish duo The Dø, British singer Jamie N Commons, and Camden-based band Tribes. Kasabian, Lana del Rey, Hurts, Sunday Girl and other musicians have also created videos, photos and mix-tapes exclusively for Mulberry as part of the brand’s Mix Tape Tour, all of which are also now available to view online.

This is the latest project in Mulberry’s string of musical ventures as the brand consistently supports new music, with creative director Emma Hill famously being a big music fan. The brand hosted a BBQ and Pool Party at the 2011 Coachella Music Festival in California, and has always recruited emerging acts to perform at its shows and events, with UK electronic duo Hot Chip taking to the decks at its Spring/Summer 2012 after-show party.

The Mix Tape renditions were filmed at East London venue The Roost. All tracks are now available to view online on Mulberry’s blog.
