The Long Table

The good people of London are embracing the street food movement in a big way, and it’s about to get even better with the launch of the city’s first night market.

The team behind the Dalston Roof Park – a garden escape in the heart of the city – have teamed up with chef Nuno Mendez from the Viajante restaurant in Bethnal Green to launch The Long Table in Dalston. Visitors can sample different international cuisines from stallholders, including Yum Buns and Big Apple Hot Dogs. The venue provides a long table where people can eat, chat and be merry throughout the evening, emphasising some Christmas community spirit.

The market will run from Friday 25 November and continue every Friday night, from 6pm until midnight, until Christmas. For more food info, follow The Long Table on Twitter @TheLongTableAS.
