Aura by Swarovski

Last Friday, international crystal brand Swarovski launched its first fragrance, Aura, in collaboration with French beauty brand Clarins.
The perfume was initially announced in 2008, the two companies having previously worked together on limited edition bottles for Thierry Mugler’s iconic fragrance, Angel.
Joël Palix, president of Clarins Fragrance Group, said of the collaboration: “Its history, its renown, its unique know-how, and the ties it has forged with the world of fashion and design, all make Swarovski a truly extraordinary brand.
“To me, Swarovski is the new luxury. The fragrance calls on memory, sensibility, emotion… after jewellery, this really is a whole new dimension added to the Swarovski universe."
The sleek, crystal-topped bottle was designed by Gwenael Nicolas of Japan's Curiosity Agency. Environmentally conscious, it is refillable, while the packaging is made from 100% recycled and recyclable cardboard.
The Aura range also includes fragranced body cream.
