Thanos Hotels’ Digital Workshops for Kids

As digital literacy becomes increasingly important, one hospitality company is offering workshops to aspiring digital natives. Thanos Hotels in Cyprus has introduced workshops for children and teens at its three sites for the second year – giving junior guests an insight into the world of blogging and social media.

The workshops, which cost €20 ($25), are open to hotel guests aged 10 and upwards. London-based digital expert Andy Whiteside will run two sessions teaching them how to stay safe online, how to use social media and the art of blogging.

For adults in need of digital guidance, Holland America Line Cruises is now offering a Digital Workshop from Windows across all of its ships. The programme offers free sessions led by a Microsoft-trained “techspert” on topics such as blogging and photography.
