JAMESPLUMB's Home From Home

In a precursor to the launch of a new exhibition, Home from Home, visitors to the Spazio Rossana Orlandi gallery in Milan can now watch designers JAMESPLUMB actually piece together the elements of the collection that will be shown in the final exhibition.

In a work-in-progress workshop orchestrated to promote the exhibition – and to provide insights into the design process – visitors can observe James Russell and Hannah Plumb (collectively JAMESPLUMB) as they re-appropriate vintage and industrial furniture from both Orlandi's personal archive and their London atelier.

They come from a fine art background, creating work that straddles the fields of art, design and retail. The new exhibition affirms the duo's status as an important emerging design talent.

Exhibition dates: November 23-December 15 (workshop viewing in progress).
