Ivan Toth Depena: Reflection

American artist Ivan Toth Depena has recently completed the installation Reflection in the entrance hall of Miami’s Stephen Clark Government Center, commissioned by the Miami-Dade County Art in Public Places initiative.

Mirroring visitors who pass through the space, the project uses cameras to record and transfer abstract reflections onto six LED light boxes, filling the space with coloured light.

The hue of the lights is altered depending on the time of day and how busy the space is, resulting in a constantly changing experience.
