Ruby Boutique, Paris

A slick boutique for luxury motorcycle helmets, Ruby Boutique – the flagship store for Ateliers Ruby, the brand of choice for helmet connoisseurs – has just opened in Paris.

Located next to Place des Victoires, within walking distance of the Louvre art gallery and the Grand Palais, the store interior – designed by owner Jérôme Coste – reflects the brand’s design mantra “retro-futuristic chic”.

Using quilted leather (which is also used to line the helmets), dark oak and riveted aluminium, Coste has created a streamlined store with more than a few referential nods to traditional museum design.

A changing exhibit of vintage motorcycles forms the centrepiece, ensuring that the interior remains a constant curiosity for new and regular visitors alike.
