As part of the London Design Festival 2010 artist/ designer Stuart Haygarth has collaborated with traditional framing company John Jones to create an installation for the V&A. Occupying one of the main grand marble staircases Framed is constructed from discarded off-cuts of picture frames and bespoke frame mouldings. Each piece has been finished by hand with contrasting colours, stains, wax finishes and specialist techniques including gold leaf.
