Robert Seidel: Folds

German visual artist Robert Seidel has produced a projected moving-image work in conjunction with the Lindenau Museum, Germany. The piece, titled Folds, mimics organic movements using digital technology, interacting with the museum’s collection of plaster casts and temporarily assigning them alternative colours and forms.
Seidel’s piece shows a growing interest in morphing colour and shape, using projected light as a means of altering our perception of a space.
A film of the piece can be viewed via Vimeo.
