Melbourne-based textile designer Bonnie Ashley and furniture maker Neil Downie have created a new homewares line, featuring timberware and soft furnishings patterned with Australia’s favourite plants and animals.

The latest in a current boom in contemporary Australiana – championed by the likes of retailers Planet Commonwealth and Koskela in Sydney – the trend combines nostalgia, localism and the handmade with contemporary design.
