The Future of Consumer Intelligence conference will analyse how technology is impacting the attitudes and behaviour of consumers on a personal, social and digital level.

Taking place in California next week, the three-day event will welcome speakers from the worlds of technology, marketing and consumer behaviour. They will offer fresh insights into data, privacy, artificial intelligence and behavioural science.

  • Ray Kurzweil, eminent futurist and director of engineering at Google, will discuss the potential social and philosophical ramifications of the singularity – when man and machine merge.

  • John Havens, founder of The H(app)athon Project, will discuss digital identity in the modern world, considering how data tracking can benefit the wellbeing of individual consumers and wider society.

  • Habit design researcher Nir Eyal will reveal the secrets to building products and services that consumers love, drawing upon his experience of creating successful strategies for consumer engagement.

The event will also examine millennial attitudes, consumer empathy and connected lifestyles, with presentations from brands such as Ebay, AirBnB and Pepsico.
