London’s Secret Cinema Gains a Pop-Up Restaurant

London-based immersive theatre company Secret Cinema has collaborated with cult London restaurant St.John to launch a pop-up restaurant to accompany its latest cinematic experience.

Hidden in the attic of a top-secret location in the British capital, the restaurant is currently serving up three-course set dinners in keeping with the theme of the mysterious film being shown downstairs. Costumed actors and period-appropriate décor complete the immersive dining experience.

The pop-up is open throughout December 2011 and January 2012, and guests must register online to receive a reservation invitation with the location.

See our Immersive Theatre report for more examples of unusually immersive branding experiences.
