Artisanal Chewing Gum Factory

Bompas & Parr’s forthcoming project is an Artisanal Chewing Gum Factory set in Whiteleys Shopping Centre, London, open from the 25 to 31 October 2010. People will be invited to learn the secrets behind chewing gum manufacture in a micro-factory.

This will be the first time chewing gum has been made on such a small scale and by members of the general public. There are 200 flavours to choose from, including some quite unusual flavours, including Hendrick’s Gin, curry and beer.

Bompas & Parr are known for creating immersive, culinary experiences exploring how the taste of food is influenced by synaesthesia, performance and setting.
