Technology & Digital

This year technology and digital design were prevalent during the traditionally product design-focused annual London Design Festival.

There was a call for the technology in our daily lives to be slowed down in order to encourage real face-to-face interactions and reduce the growing reliance on social networks for companionship.

Fringe events, including the Victoria and Albert Museum’s (V&A) Digital Weekend and Alpha-ville Festival, explored the future of digital technology with talks by established industry professionals about multi-disciplinary collaboration and open-source solutions.
